Hospital Policies

Office visits are by appointment to minimize waiting and assure plenty of time for a thorough examination. To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment.

Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. We accept walk-ins on a case-by-case basis.

Please notify us as soon as possible if you will be late or cannot make an appointment. We will work with you to reschedule your appointment to a more convenient time. Should you excessively miss appointments, fees may apply.

For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available. A 'drop off' means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning so our doctor can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, we will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.


Prescription Policies

We strive to be your best financial and medical option. If there is a request to order a prescription through an alternate pharmacy, please submit your request for a written prescription at least 24-48 hrs prior.

Please allow 24-48 hours for prescription refills. All refill requests must be approved by a veterinarian and are contingent upon current bloodwork, urinalysis, exam findings and other lab test results.

We will contact you if we have any questions, or if the refill is not approved. Sometimes it will be necessary to schedule lab testing or medical progress exams prior to refilling a prescription.


Payment Policies

We require full payment at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, personal checks, and CareCredit. We do not have payment plan options. CareCredit is a payment option that is helpful for those wanting a payment plan.

When appointments are excessively canceled, rescheduled, or missed, fees or deposits may apply.
